What technology was used to create the A-549 VIM RFP (ATCC® CCL-185EMT™) reporter cell line? 

This Vim-RFP reporter cell line was created by using CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing technology. It was derived from the parental A549 (ATCC® CCL-185) lung cancer cell line  which is a widely used model cell line for studying EMT in lung cancer metastasis.
