Growth rate of ATCC® CRL-1740

What is the growth rate for the LNCaP clone FGC cells (ATCC® CRL-1740 ™)?

The LNCaP clone FGC (ATCC® CRL-1740 ™) is an especially difficult cell line to assess growth rate. This is due to the weakly adherent monolayers and tendency to cluster. It is also due to different rates of growth at different densities. In general, the LNCaP clone FGC cells grow rather slowly.  Cell counts indicate that it takes 1 to 3 days for one population doubling.
