Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 isolate 2019-nCoV/USA-WA1/2020, complete genome

Due to high demand, this product is limited to 20 per organization.

This product is a preparation of Severe acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) strain 2019-nCoV/USA-WA1/2020 that has been inactivated by heating to 65°C for 30 minutes and is therefore unable to replicate.

Each vial contains approximately 0.25 mL of heat-inactivated, clarified cell lysate and supernatant from Vero E6 cells infected with SARS-CoV-2 strain 2019-nCoV/USA-WA1/2020. The vial should be centrifuged prior to opening.

The long-term stability of this preparation is not known at this time. It is recommended that users confirm the activity of the product if not used within three months of receipt.

Acknowledgment for publications should read "The following reagent was deposited by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and obtained through BEI Resources, NIAID, NIH: Genomic RNA from SARS-Related Coronavirus 2, Isolate USA-WA1/2020, NR-52285."
