Comments Genomic RNA isolated from a preparation of Betacoronavirus 1 strain OC43 (ATCC® VR-1558™). This product was prepared using methods known to inactivate viruses. It is suitable for use in PCR and other molecular-based applications. The source organism is also available through the ATCC catalog.

Next-generation sequencing (NGS) at ATCC on the HCT-8 [HRT-18] cell line (ATCC® CCL-244™) used as the host has shown the presence of a putative fragment of Gammaherpesvirus with a ≥98% homology to Human Heparanase 2 (NCBI number NG_023416.1).
