RNA analysis by RT-PCR and qRT-PCR
Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) is a commonly used method for detecting RNA expression. RT-PCR is used for qualitative purposes (yes/no determination), and real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) is used for quantification purposes.
- Set assay specification during consultation with the customer
- Select reagents and reaction formats
- Design and optimize RT-PCR or qRT-PCR assays – If you already have assay protocols developed, we are able to use the same protocol
- Perform the assays
- Analyze the results
- Incorporate the results into an acceptable reporting format (e.g., Certificate of Analysis)
